Well before your travel date do make sure you and your travelling party's passports are valid, correct and present.
This means checking they are in date - especially those of children as they are issued for only 5 years when under 16 - and that the passport is in a good condition. Or that no-one (excluding children) has changed beyond recognition (in relation to the passport photo). Otherwise you could run the risk of being refused travel.
