Disabled Facilities At Leeds Airport ... |
When booking a flight disabled travellers at Leeds Airport should advise the airline of their disability and also check that all help and assistance is included in the price of the ticket. Any passengers requiring wheelchair assistance from check-in should tell the airline before travel.
Many airlines request that passengers transfer into an airline wheelchair at check-in. For those wishing to retain their own wheelchairs up until boarding should check the airline's policy.
Guide and hearing dogs are the only dogs allowed in the terminal buildings.
Leeds Airport offers an ambulift that provides access to and from the aircraft for passengers with impaired mobility. It is highly advisable that this service is pre-booked to avoid any delay. |
